Transform your skin with Fontana!
Microneedling has become an extremely popular skin procedure across the world to target dark spots, visible pores and wrinkles. But what’s all the hype about?
pro nanoinfusion treatment
Nanoinfusion goes by various other names such as Microchanneling, Nanoneedling or Nano exfoliation. It is a non-invasive procedure that involves the use of a pen style modality and nano-tips – not needles as the name might suggest. It uses very tiny cones formed of silicone or stainless steel that do not penetrate the skin but do help with resurfacing and product infusion.
Nanoinfusion can also improve skin texture, boost hydration as well as address signs of premature skin ageing. The most immediate, visible change in the skin is a hydrating glow.
Dermalogica’s PRO nanoinfusion treatment delivers advanced professional results for skin texture and signs of ageing. This treatment uses innovative techniques and powerful, professional grade actives to instantly help:
Diminish the appearance of lines and wrinkles
Brighten the complexion
Smooth the appearance of skin
There’s no downtime needed for this non-invasive procedure, but your post-treatment home care routine is as important as the treatment itself for maintaining and enhancing your results. You’ll leave with a customised home care product plan that best suits your skin.
We recommend scheduling a series of 3 - 5 PRO nanoinfusion treatments with 4 weeks in between treatments.
Purchase your prescribed home care product system to maintain and enhance your results in between treatments.
Follow your pre-treatment recommendations and post care instructions as given by your Professional Skin Therapist to maximise results and minimise skin sensitivity. Pre and post care is just as important at the treatment itself.
Please note : a pre-consultation is required before your first treatment to make sure the treatment is suitable for you. This appointment is also a time for you to ask any questions you may have.
pro microneedling treatment
Microneedling is a minimally invasive procedure that uses fine needles to make miniscule, evenly-spaced micro-injuries to the skin. This triggers the body’s wound healing process, stimulates healthy surrounding tissue to repair the damage, and brings the skin back to its healthiest looking state.
This repair process helps reduce the appearance of dark spots, wrinkles, sagging, and texture irregularities such as acne pitting or stretch marks.
Recent studies have proven that Microneedling is effective in targeting the melanocytes responsible for melanin overproduction, which means you can achieve brighter, more even-toned skin.
Dermalogica’s PRO Microneedling is safe, virtually painless, and can benefit all skin types. By targeting your skin’s inflammation and repair process, PRO Microneedling stimulates the production of new, healthy-looking skin.
PRO Microneedling helps:
Brighten your complexion
Reduce the appearance of dark spots
Diminish the appearance of lines and wrinkles
Refine the look of pores
Common questions about Microneedling
Who is NOT a candidate for Microneedling?
Microneedling is generally safe for all skin types, but those who are pregnant, have a history of eczema, psoriasis, herpes, diabetes and other chronic conditions should consult with their physician for approval.
Does it hurt?
It can be uncomfortable in certain areas of your face. However, the treatment is fairly quick, and Rebecca your skin therapist will work with you and your skin, progressing the treatment over time.
How many treatments do I need?
With any advanced skin treatment, a series of treatments is recommended for long lasting, visible results. It will always depend on your unique skin and goals, but generally, a series of 3 – 6 Microneedling treatments is recommended, having them every 4 – 6 weeks.
How much downtime is there?
There’s no significant downtime with this minimally invasive procedure. You may experience some mild redness and irritation for 2 – 3 days after Microneedling, but this will subside quickly.
Please note : a pre-consultation & patch test is required before your first treatment to make sure the treatment is suitable for you. This appointment is also a time for you to ask any questions you may have.
